报告摘要:

Electromagnetic radiation from radio to gammay ray bands can be generated in tidal disruption events (TDEs). One of the main problem related to the optical emission of TDEs is that the observationally inferred location of optical emission is serval orders of magnitude larger than the theoretically predicted accretion disk size. We perform simulations and find that the TDEs winds can take gas to much larger radii and emit optical emission. The emission location is consistent with observations. We propose that in some TDEs, the radio emission is produced in the shock process when the TDE winds collide with the dense clouds surrounding the central supermassive black hole. The wind-cloud interaction model can explain the radio emission very well in some radio TDEs.

报告人简介:

Dr.Defu Bu was a graduate student from 2005-2010 in Shanghai Astronomical observatory (SHAO) and got PhD degree in 2010. Then, he works as a faculty in SHAO. He mainly works on compact object related astrophysics including AGNs, AGN feedback, tidal disruption events and black hole X-ray binaries.
